Did you know the WD-40 Fan Club has more than 99,000 members? Fans from around the world share their favorite uses for WD-40 each and everyday at www.wd40.com. We've heard about some great uses, but here are a few of our favorites. Use WD-40 to:

  • Lubricate bird feeder poles to keep squirrels from climbing them
  • Shine bowling balls. Be sure to wipe the bowling ball clean after using WD-40 to prevent dropping it later
  • Penetrate stuck/squeaky diving board fulcrums
  • Stop baby's bedroom door from squeaking to make sure the little one stays asleep
  • Coat the bases of light bulbs prior to installation to ease removal

Mountain bike riding is a great way to enjoy nature and get a workout at the same time. Keeping your mountain bike in tip-top shape is the best way to ensure you will have a safe, smooth ride. WD-40 can help care for mountain bikes. Use it to:

  • Coat frames before a ride to make clean-up easier
  • Lubricate gear-shifting mechanisms
  • Drive moisture from and prevent rust on chains and cranks after a ride
  • Remove unwanted stickers and adhesive from frames
  • Lubricate seat posts for easier adjustments
"I am what you would call a WD-40 fanatic. I have used WD-40 countless times for so many things! I once received a bike that was retrieved by my neighbor from a saltwater pond. The bike was in pretty good condition, but the wheels wouldn't budge.  I stood on the pedals and tried to move them, but they were stuck solid. I grabbed my can of WD-40 and soaked the bearings of each wheel, the chain and the pulley bearings. I got back on, and the bike rolled and worked like new! I sprayed the whole bike liberally and it shined, and rode like a brand new bike! Thanks for all your help, WD-40!"
