The Game was to Name the Offense

Hockey Short-corner:
Ball placed on short corner mark
Ball hit using edge of stick toward top of D
Ball stopped outside D using flat side of stick
Ball pushed into D using same flat side of stick
Ball stuck (creamed) along ground by attacking player using flat side of his stick
Ball deflected off defenders stick into air (approx 4 feet high) wide of right hand upright

Attacker approaching right hand upright somehow deflects chest high ball towards goal using flat side of stick
Ball strikes defender, stood on goal line, on the chest
Ball drops to ground and is clear up field by defending team

The winner was the first correct entry stating:
1) What offense was committed, ie what should have been blown (if any).
2) What was actually given.

The Solution According To Chris Mac was:-

The offense that should have been given was a short-corner as the ball lifted dangerously off the defenders stick, unbelievably the umpire called .......

"PLAY ON"

"I can only presume he was suffering from offense-overload."
