Mike Tyson & Alex Ramos
Mike Tyson and Alex Ramos, Retired Boxers Foundation President

Last Saturday night all us boxing fans were witness to a display of phenomenal, fantastic, pugilistic, top quality entertainment as the "heavyweight" (holding) champ Lewis knocks out good old "Iron" Mike. Well folks that's a bunch BS!

This is what actually happened at the fight.

Once again our friend "Mike Tyson" got bullied my the ever so slick (Mr. Lewis) see this is what he did to beat Mike, it's called "hit n hold."

Mike had no chance at all beating Lewis, with all the focus on him (he tends to bite from time to time when people cheat against him) not to cause havoc in the ring, Lewis gained a strong advantage against the much shorter Tyson.

Mike may be short but if Lewis was to fight like a true "heavyweight" champ and just let his hands go, we would have a new champ. But Mike has always had it hard when it comes to his boxing success.

Fight fans don't you remember "the real champs" like Jack Johnson, Sonny Liston, Joe Frazier, George Foreman and so many others. Every time these guys came to fight they were ready to either knock out or get knocked out!

Lewis is a over rated and very boring to watch fighter. Fighting is a brutal game not a "WWF" show like the one Lewis brought to the table last Saturday evening.

As a skilled athlete I think Lewis ranks among the best of all times, however he belongs in the "WWF" more than he does in professional boxing. Come on Lewis you know what you did was wrong, how does it feel to know that millions of boxing fans still love Mike Tyson and call him the People's Champion!

When he retires from boxing the fight game will be losing out on millions and millions of dollars, that's what this whole game is all about.

When Mike fights he makes everybody around him money! From sponsors, promoters, the media, the internet - all forms of entertainment thrives when Mike enters the ring.

Boxing fans I urge you to keep Mike in the fight game, it's up to us to demand that Lewis either fight Mike again, after Mike has two more warm up fights or retire his belts!

Well that's how I see it anyway...
