Hello, AFL Fans:

Some new additions to the AFL pages include those on the Oilers' page, the Patriots' page, and the Bills' page. I've also, sadly, listed the names of more deceased AFL players.

And I want to pass on some exciting news about a new book.  Larry Felser, long-time AFL writer and an AFL Hall of Famer, has confirmed that he's writing it for publication in 2006.  It's called "Merger and Mayhem," the 40th anniversary of the AFL-NFL merger.

Larry tells me it's full of stories about some of our favorites — Harry Wismer, E. J. Holub, Pete Gogolak, Daryle Lamonica, Al Davis, Ron Mix, Sonny Werblin, Weeb Ewbank,  and a cast of dozens more from the AFL. Also among the central figures are the baddies — Carroll Rosenbloom, Norm Van Brocklin, Vince Lombardi, George Preston Marshall, and the twin Texes, Schramm and Maule.
