Hi, friends and family:
Barry Wittenstein has written a piece for the January,
2008 issue of Buffalo Spree magazine, about my
website Remember
the AFL and my efforts to assure that the AFL and
its great players are given their proper place in Pro
Football history.
Chris Schobert, Associate Editor of Buffalo Spree,
and I will be interviewed about the article by Linda
Pellegrino on Buffalo's WKBW-TV, Channel 7, on 'AM
Buffalo', between 10 AM and 11 AM on Thursday, December
20th.
I hope those of you in the Buffalo area will tune in.
Of course, the interview could always be bumped by "hard
news" - the last time I was supposed to be
on the show, my interview was pre-empted by the network
when some guy named Saddam Hussein was captured.
If the show is pre-empted, or if you miss it, or if
you aren't close enough to Buffalo to pick it up on
your "rabbit ears", the January issue
of Buffalo Spree will be out shortly. Around
Buffalo, pick it up "at your favorite newsstand",
for example at Wegmans and Tops Markets. It can also
be purchased at Latinas Foodland, select Wilson
Farms, Dashs Market, at all Borders and Barnes
& Noble Booksellers locations, and at other
stores listed at Where
to Buy Buffalo Spree Magazine.
If you're out of town, you can subscribe
at Buffalo Spree's subscription
page. After you've read the article, write to NFL
Commissioner Roger Goodell and urge him to give the
historic importance of the American Football League
more exposure, including a "Celebration
of the AFL" in what would have been the league's
50th season, 2009. Goodell's address is 280 Park Avenue,
New York, New York 10017.
Angie and
I wish
you the
happiest of
holiday seasons!
Best regards,
Ange Coniglio
