Hi Sports Lore,

The Phillies went and broke a long standing tradition of "snatching defeat from the jaws of victory" Instead of losing they actually went and won it all. Oh how those other three pro franchises must be dreading today. And how about the sports writers who will have to say "nice things". The papers may have to bring outside reporters in to cover this most difficult task. Of course come Sunday and the Eagles play and all will be back to normal.

Congratulations. I was just happy some team from NY, Boston, Chicago or L.A. didn't win.
