Did you ever notice how many sports films
there are? Pick a sport, any sport, and it is in a movie.
Or so a couple of our readers feel that way. They also
felt it would be interesting to have a monthly poll.
Let our readers vote on their favorite sports flicks.
Even better they would do it. We at Sports Lore said
"Sold".
So beginning in January a list of ten
films to pick from will be shown. All we ask is for
you to click on the one you liked best. Each month there
after will be a new list of ten movies. Towards the
end of the year we will have a run off among the monthly
winners. It is that easy.
Mike Clarke will handle selecting the
films. Mike worked for years as a manager of a video
rental store. Joining him is Hal who currently manages
a video rental store. One of their perks of employment
is free movies to watch. This way they could help customers
decide on movies to view.
When they first sat down they came up
with over 200 sports movies. Some are old, some are
new, but they all had something to do with sports. The
ten being put up each month will cover a variety of
sports. Mike or Hal has seen them all and can answer
any questions you may have about them. Also, if you
have a movie you wish to go on the poll, e-mail The
Movie Guys and they'll do their best to get it on. To
