The voting for September's movie poll has been tallied and the results are in.

Your favorite Sports Movie for September was "The Waterboy."

A new list of Sports Movie Reviews is up for you to vote on. You can see the voting percentages of September's movies on the Movie Guys Page, and will see all the winners at the big vote for your Sports Lore Favorite Sports Movie Runoff at the end of the year.

Little Giants – 1994 (PG) – Football/Family/Comedy; Rick Moranis, Ed O'Neil. Two brothers coach opposing peewee football teams: one with an elite squad of players, the other with a team of misfits. Guess who wins.

Seabiscuit – 2003 (PG-13) – Horse Racing/Drama; Tobey Maguire, Jeff Bridges, Chris Cooper. Three men create a legend when they lead a horse to fame and glory during the depression.

Eight Men Out – 1988 (PG) – Baseball/Drama; John Cusack, D.B. Sweeny, Charlie Sheen. The 1919 White Sox Scandal to throw the World Series is explored in this fine period piece by Independent Filmmaker John Sayles.

Brian's Song – 1971 (G)(TV) – Football/Drama; James Caan, Billy Dee Williams. True story of the friendship of Gale Sayers and Brian Piccolo, whose life was tragically cut short by cancer.

Poolhall Junkies – 2003 (R) – Pool/Drama; Chazz Palminteri, Christopher Walken, Rod Steiger. Former pool-shark is drawn into one last game to save his brother.

Man's Favorite Sport? – 1964 (N/R) – Fishing/Romantic Comedy; Rock Hudson, Paula Prentiss. A fishing expert, whose only real expertise is in writing how-to books, is coerced into competing in a major angling tournament.

The Fan – 1996 (R) – Baseball/Thriller; Robert De Niro, Wesley Snipes. Obsessed baseball fan stalks his favorite player.

Requiem for a Heavyweight – 1962 (N/R) (B/W) – Anthony Quinn, Jackie Gleason. Mountain Rivera, a boxer at the end of his career after being knocked out by Cassius Clay, risks blindness on one last fight to help his manager pay off bookies. Includes many real-life boxers in cameos.

All the Right Moves 1983 (R) – Football/Drama; Tom Cruise, Lea Thompson. High-school senior is counting on a football scholarship to escape his grim Pennsylvania town.

The Great White Hype 1996 (R) – Boxing/Comedy; Samuel L. Jackson, Damon Wayans. Wickedly funny satire of the boxing world, played to the hilt by a cast of fine actors.
