—Special Charity Auction of Memorabilia Items Signed by Shaq, Kobe, de la Hoya and Many Other Sports & Entertainment Stars—

ESPN Auctions presented by eBay (www.espnauctions.com) will include a series of summer auctions featuring interactive experiences and exclusive items from ESPN X Games VIII, Michael Jordan's Flight School Basketball Camp, ESPN Outdoors and The ESPY Awards. These summer auctions begin July 4th and last through July 11 - The ESPY Collection auction will begin on July 11 and continue periodically through September. Fans have the opportunity to bid on these exclusive items -

  • Michael Jordan Flight School Youth Camp - This is the last camp slot available to send your 8-18 year old girl or boy to this once-in-a-lifetime basketball camp at the University of California, Santa Barbara, August 6-10. The camper will be able to fine-tune their skills with some of the nation's best coaches and college athletes.

  • Signed Sports Memorabilia - Athletes and entertainers gave their signatures for this charity auction - a portion of net proceeds go to The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Marquee items include: jerseys from basketball and hockey greats including Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Adam Deadmarsh, Ian Laperriere and members of the LA Kings; signed basketballs from Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan and more; signed pucks, and an NHL All-star official practice jersey signed by a "who's who" in sports and entertainment. There are nearly 30 items in all.

  • Two X Games VIII Experiences - Four days of special viewing of X Games VIII in Philadelphia, August 17-20. One experience includes a chance to present a medal in an official medal ceremony. The second auction will include a private, one-hour skateboarding lesson with an X Games athlete. Partial proceeds from the second auction will benefit a charity of the athlete's choice.

  • ESPN Outdoors Experience - A fresh-water fishing excursion with Jerry McKinnis, host of "The Fishing Hole" and "BASSMASTER Tournament Series." The highest bidder and a guest will have dinner with McKinnis after the first day of fishing. Partial proceeds from this auction will benefit The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
