For
baseball fans, it's one of the most exciting times of
the year - spring training! Break out the bats, break
in the gloves and get ready for another action-packed
baseball season. WD-40®
has been hanging around dugouts for years. Keep a can
in your equipment bag and use it to:
- Remove
pine tar from hands and other body parts (be sure
to wash hands with soap and water after using WD-40)
- Penetrate
stuck (removable) cleats to make replacement easier
- Clean,
shine and remove pine tar from batting helmets
- Polish
and remove ball marks from bats
- Help break in brand
new leather mitts and batting gloves
Basketball
season is in high gear. The NBA is nearing playoff time,
the NCAA's March madness is nearly upon us, and high schoolers
and club players are on the court day in and day out.
Proper care of equipment will help make each game a slam
dunk, and WD-40 can help. Use it to:
- Lubricate
breakaway rims to allow for easier slam-dunking
- Stop
squeaks on wheels of portable hoops
- Clean
and shine ball racks
- Remove
permanent marker stains from dry erase boards in locker
rooms
