"Backwards" Bud has a tough
time watching where he's going. Bud Badyna (BA'-dee-na)
has broken a number of world records for running backward.
The Georgia nurse says there's a method to his madness.
He notes running backwards improves balance and helps
to heighten the senses. It also burns more calories
than regular running. But, of course, Badyna says there's
always the risk of being blindsided. He says when he's
running in the street, he tries to have his girlfriend
ride along side on her bike to point out the hazards.
