What exactly is it about Michael Jordon,
Jason Seahorn or Derek Jeter that drives women crazy?
What is it that turns grown men into 17-year-old boys
when watching Anna Kournikova or the Divas of the WWF?
Is it the confidence and ambition an athlete portrays?
Or simply the subtle...or not so suble... sexual appeal.
What is about an athlete that makes us all weak in the
knees?
This question is right on time
because I had a dream about Allen Iverson last night!
I don't think it's just athletes that
have this effect. It's just that if they were normal
9-5 people, we might never have seen them and would
never know how hot they are. For example, there is a
very hot guy in my office that many women would be fawning
over if he were on television every week.

Personally, huge muscles do it for
me. While most athletes have muscles, the fact that
they are unattainable takes the appeal away (for me).
Rather than turn on the TV and ogle someone I can't
have, I prefer to take a trip to the local gym and smile
away.
To date, my smiling has been unproductive,
but I am hoping that will change very soon!

Is it time for steroid use to
finally be addressed?
Sports were so much easier when the only
performance-enhancer we had to worry about were Vitamins.
Almost every day brings another steroid
report. First, Jose Canseco said that 85 percent of
major leaguers use steroids. Then Ken Caminiti told
Sports Illustrated that he used steroids during his
1996 MVP season. Chad Curtis told SI that 40 to 50 percent
of major leaguers use them as well.
The question is whether anyone really
cares enough to do anything. Fans say they hate steroid
use, but they also really enjoy watching home runs sail
into the upper deck. After all, Mark McGwire used the
performance-enhancer androstenedione four years ago
when he broke Roger Maris' single-season home run record.
Do the players care? Do the owners care? If a substance
is illegal in the United States, should it be illegal
in the major leagues?
