Bobby was born December 3, 1937. While
retired from racing he never quite left it. For information

A lot of Nascar drivers have successful
careers, but few become legends in their own time. Bobby
Allison is one that has. Allison burst onto the Nascar
scene with his first win in 1966 at the Oxford Plains
Speedway, and on that day, a Nascar legend was born.
Throughout his career, Allison has tacked up 85 Nascar
wins including three times at the Daytona 500. Allison
is six times Nascar’s most popular driver proving
that he is not only great driver, but a good person
as well. Bobby Allison will certainly go down as one
of the best drivers ever to slip into a car. In 1998,
he was named one of Nascar’s 50 greatest drivers
and is a member of four Hall of Fames.
